There’s a warm breeze on my back

And a cool drink in my hand

The hot noon sun is shining

Reflecting off the sand

A dark-haired girl siting close to me

Everything seems so right

Like it’s supposed to be

When the sun goes down

And the band begins to play

You can hear a samba

And palm trees gently sway

Back and forth they go

With the melody

Bending in the soft moonlight

This is the life for me

starlit sky above me

And a peaceful town below

Everyone I see likes to stop and say hello

As I walk through the marketplace

They sing and sell their wares

Sweet sounds of the joy of life

Floating through the air

Today, I walk the highlands

Not far from the shore

And think about all I have

and couldn’t want for more

From this place of ecstasy

I’m engulfed in fantasy
