The Bella Ciao band performs the hottest Italian-American hits including their first-ballot, Grammy-nominated songs Blue Italian Skies and Mambiambo; the Pasta Song, Monica from Monaco and more, in a fun-filled, all-ages show that has everyone livin' la dolce vita.

Bella Ciao is the only band in America to have played both the Italian National Anthem and American National Anthem at a major league baseball park. In 2007, Bella Ciao played the American National Anthem the night Barry Bonds broke the all-time home run record.

Above are two short Bella Ciao videos. The top one features the fabulous Signora Laura Ficaro on the classic song My Italian Gigolo. The bottom one features band leader Tom Torriglia performing the middle-eastern sounding Salsicce Song. Bella Ciao is a 6-piece band. Instrumentation includes accordion, a female lead vocalist, electric bass, electric guitar and mandolin, sax, and drums. Bella Ciao is based in San Francisco but can travel to anywhere people want to have a good time.

Over the past 10 years, Bella Ciao has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with other great Italian-American musical acts including: Ray Massa and the Eurorhythms, Dick Contino, Tre Bella, Moreno Fruzetti, Franco Corso, Lena Prima, and more!

The new CD from Bella Ciao, Festivus Italiano,  is here and contains such hits as Oh Marie, Mambiambo, Rina and Danielle Polka, Sway, It Had Better Be Tonight, Blame it on the Bossa Nova and many more. Read all about it HE RE!
